چکیده
Breeding programs to promote the productivity of Indonesian local goats (i.e. Kacang Goats) in various regions have been carried out by cross-breeding with predominant breeds meat world such as Boer Goats. Currently, considering that genotypes cross-bred goat (namely Boerka Goat) spread and farmed farms throughout country, it is necessary evaluate increase achieved. This study aims investigate pre-weaning growth performance (Boer x Kacang) Crossbred Kids at different birth types. The was experimentally using 167 crossbred kids which arranged a Split-Plot Design covering 3 plots kid genotype, namely: BK (50% Boer, 50% Kacang), BBK (75% 25% , KBK (25% 75% each sub-plots types, namely single born (CT), twin (CK-2), triplet (CK-3), all including male female kids. response variable measured on performance, observed directly measuring weight (BL), 90-day-old weaning (BS90), daily body gain (PBBH) for period. data tabulated analyzed software “Genstat”. results showed BL, BS.90, PBBH were influenced genotype (P<0.01) type (P<0.05) kids, differed between males females kid. Male BS90, Pre-Weaning 12.88, 9.20, 9.24% higher than respectively. Based highest shown single-born BS.90 3.32±0.33, 13.06±3.46 0.114±0.020 kg,

MATERIALS AND METHODS A total of forty eight (48), 7 days old, single born kids (live weight 4.4±0.09 kg) were divided into three treatment groups, each containing eight males and eight females. All three groups had access to their dams' ...
متن کاملMacromineral requirements for the maintenance and growth of Boer crossbred kids.
Advances in mineral nutrition of goats have been made during the last decade, especially in our understanding of Ca and P requirements. However, few studies have focused on the mineral requirements of crossbred Boer goats in their growth phase. Our objective for this study was to determine the macromineral (Ca, P, Mg, K, and Na) requirements for the maintenance and growth of intact, male three-...
متن کاملEnergy and protein requirements for maintenance and growth of Boer crossbred kids.
Meat production by goats has become an important livestock enterprise in several parts of the world. Nonetheless, energy and protein requirements of meat goats have not been defined thoroughly. The objective of this study was to determine the energy and protein requirements for maintenance and growth of 34 (3/4) Boer x (1/4) Saanen crossbred, intact male kids (20.5 +/- 0.24 kg of initial BW). T...
متن کاملEffects of Concentrate Level and Pen Configuration on Performance of Boer Crossbred Goat Kids
One hundred eighty-one Boer-sired goat kids from dams of predominantly Spanish breeding (17.6 ± 2.34 kg initial BW; 177 wethers, 4 doelings) were used to determine optimum inclusion level of concentrate in diets fed to goats in confinement. Effects of elevated loafing areas on performance were also examined. Goats were blocked by weight (2 blocks per treatment) and randomly assigned to 1 of 12 ...
